Charlotte Touchdown Club Announces Recipient of the 2025 Carolina Panthers Community Impact Player of the Year Award Sponsored by the Carolina Ascent

Carolina Panthers Austin Corbett to be honored December 8th at Bronko Nagurski Awards Banquet presented by Coca-Cola Consolidated

Charlotte, N.C. (November 21, 2025) – The Charlotte Touchdown Club announced today Carolina Panthers center, Austin Corbett, as recipient of its 2025 Carolina Panthers Community Impact Player of the Year Award sponsored by the Carolina Ascent. Austin will be honored with the award at Monday, December 8th’s Bronko Nagurski Awards Banquet, hosted at the Charlotte Convention Center.

Austin CorbettThe Carolina Panthers Community Impact Player of the Year Award recognizes a current or former Panthers player who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to community service and positive social impact. This honor celebrates individuals who use their platform to uplift others, support meaningful causes, and embody the organization’s values through leadership, generosity, and sustained engagement in the Carolinas.

“It’s a true honor to be recognized by the Charlotte Touchdown Club as the Carolina Panthers Community Impact award recipient,” said Corbett. “I am grateful to have a platform which allows me to serve and bring joy to others. My teammates do so many impactful things in the community and it’s my privilege to be part of those efforts.”

In conjunction with the Football Writers Association of America, the 2025 Bronko Nagurski Awards Banquet presented by Coca-Cola Consolidated will be held on Monday, December 8th at the Charlotte Convention Center. The four finalists for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy are: Caleb Downs/Ohio State, Cahius Howell/Texas A&M, Leonard Moore/Notre Dame and Jacob Rodriguez/Texas Tech. In addition, Kouri Crump from VMI will be honored with the Defender of the Nation Award, UC Berkeley’s Ron Rivera from the Class of 1983 will be honored as the 2025 Legends Award recipient and Oklahoma Sooners legendary linebacker, Brian Bosworth, is slated as the keynote speaker. CBS Sports Studio Host, Adam Zucker, is confirmed as Master of Ceremonies!

The Bronko Nagurski Trophy is presented annually by the Charlotte Touchdown Club in conjunction with the Football Writers Association of America to the nation’s most outstanding NCAA Division I defensive football player.
